Emento closes deal with University Hospital Erlangen
The Danish-based Emento subsidiary in Germany closes a comprehensive partnership agreement with University Hospital Erlangen in Bavaria. The partnership agreement with the German hospital is Emento's first contract with a university hospital outside Denmark following intense efforts to gain footing in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Emento and University Hospital Erlangen have just signed a contract ensuring that the hospital's patients and staff can access Emento's thoroughly tested digital Patient Guide, already helping thousands to establish better and more coherent pathways.
A collaboration with one of the best hospitals in Germany
University Hospital Erlangen is one of the biggest hospitals in Germany and plays a central role in the medical valley ecosystem in Franken in Bavaria. The German hospital treats 641,000 patients annually, which is comparable to the number in Central Denmark Region, one of five Danish administrative regions with a population of about 1.3 million.
Germany is investing heavily in modernizing healthcare through the Hospital Future Act and 4.3 billion euros are earmarked for digitalization of the German healthcare system.
